A Poison Tree

The poem is  built up on several contrasts; friend-foe; Love- hate; trust-deceit. poison tree stand for hatred. Hatred is the outcome of a lack of trust. It is true that excuses heard are pardoned and forgiven among friends but it is difficult to suppress the feeling of hatred against one’s enemy. Once never loses a chance of letting down one’s enemy. Deprivation of love and affection give birth to confrontation anger, animosity and destruction in society.
